Default Re: 1:200 Custom Hasegawa Boeing 747 Dreamlifter LCF N747BC

ok heres what i got so far.

made a rudimentary support for the tube to boost it higher up by about 2mm since i cut the fuselage down lower than i wanted it to go. added 2 more lead weights for a total of 9 7g weights. very heavy!

first time actually for me using epoxy. roughened up the tube and the supports with some coarse sandpaper so the glue will adhere better. i actually dont know if this will hold or if i mixed it right. its a 60min epoxy so i guess i will find out later. my wire cutters are just there to hold it down while it sets

so until tomorrow! tomorrow i will insert "covers" to cover the two ends of the tube so my milliput has a backing to stick to and also begin the mulliput process. this one is going to take the longest so while that milliput dries, ill go mod the tail.
