However, if not for this "finicky" crowd, Gemini would still be making models with ugly engines, ugly seams in the tails and landing gear more illustrative of a toy than a fine collectors item and Herpa would still be producing those ghastly toys with the HUGE landing gears.

If not for those nitpickers, I am doubtful this hobby could have progressed the way it has. But thanks to the nitpickers and a manufacturer who actually started raising the bar on the standards, we’d still be getting stuff that looked more like toys than highly detailed collector models.

The bottom line is that MOST of the manufacturers of these TOYS have the maturity of a small child and the egos of Saddam Hussein.

Carry on; I'd love to see a YOUTUBE video of you guys talking about your competition next.
Well Put!
I Also Find It Fascinating That The Micrometer Crowd Are Supposed To Be A "Minority" Yet We See Models Improve Over The Years.
It's Even More Fascinating The Manufacturers Act Like They Don't Give A **** About Us, But Yet We Hear Them Wine About Us.
One Thing's For Sure. This Hobby Is Rife With Hypocrasy & I Gaurantee You, It's Not The Collectors...

I'd Also Like To Point Out If You Are In Business, Expect Complaints, Often From Those Who Have No Idea What They Are Talking About.
If You As A Business Person Roll With The Dices, There Is Potential For Growth.
I'd Hazard To Say Half The Collectors That Quit Did So Out Of Shock & Frustration From Manufacturers Antics & The Ensuing Threads.
Where's The Joy In A Hobby If Your Favorite Model Maker Treats You Like Garbage?
