Herpa has done absolutely nothing to replace it after countless letters..no emails back then... And I am not alone on that one...Yes there are issues when a model comes and the gears are broken off, corrections are made to the packageing and hopefully it wont happen again.

Jet-X right on the money with the video expressing his frustration too...There is a simple solution, get some investors with about 100K and start your own company and see how long you last....

ADI/ Gemini would not be in business today without large airline orders...The collectors only represent a small percentage of their business...Quit whinning over a 30.00 piece of metal and go buy the competitors if theirs is better...It absoluetly amazes me how worked up people get...Now if you will excuse me
I have to decide on more important things like whether to watch American Idol or Dancing with the Stars, while eating my Arbys Beef and Cheddar.....Decisions.... Decisions
What is more fascinating with this debate is watching manufacturers whine like little cry babies over the finicky comments from the tiny handful of collectors who are part of the micrometer crowd and act like it is the majority opinion.

However, if not for this "finicky" crowd, Gemini would still be making models with ugly engines, ugly seams in the tails and landing gear more illustrative of a toy than a fine collectors item and Herpa would still be producing those ghastly toys with the HUGE landing gears.

If not for those nitpickers, I am doubtful this hobby could have progressed the way it has. But thanks to the nitpickers and a manufacturer who actually started raising the bar on the standards, we’d still be getting stuff that looked more like toys than highly detailed collector models.

The bottom line is that MOST of the manufacturers of these TOYS have the maturity of a small child and the egos of Saddam Hussein.

Carry on; I'd love to see a YOUTUBE video of you guys talking about your competition next.
