I would put some yellow lead in lines for the aircraft parking positions and also maybe suggest powdered grass glued to your board for even more realism. thats only my opinion but it does look fantastic and the staining effect is not overdone by any stretch, I work airside and I know what aprons affected by wear and tear look like.

Thanks, the grass was an afterthought, picked up a cheap roll at a hobby store. I have built several dioramas like this but my primary purpose is to create a semi-realistic background to photograph my models in front of, I don't dable with landscaping very much. I spent a few years working in operations for TIA at JFK in the 1970's (yeah I know) and this was our ramp. Done mostly from memory, today the hangar is still there but sadly the paint has all peeled off and the roof patched and rusted. The ramp is now a fenced in sea of cargo containers and a new warehouse has been erected next to the security gate.
