Actual longest flight: 18 hours in a C-5 from Dover AFB to Diego Garcia Is., Indian Ocean. Longest time sitting on the ground: 9 hours at DFW during severe weather...the whole time spent aboard the aircraft, a Delta Connection CRJ 700.
