How about my shortest flight on a "heavy" plane. LAS to LAX on a CO DC-10. The original flight was a HNL-LAX red eye, but we diverted to LAS due to LAX being fogged in. They parked our DC-10 at an empty terminal at LAS. The flight crew played the slots for two hours waiting for fog to clear at LAX. After about two hours, we were all told to get back on the plane for a quick 45 minute flight back to LAX.
