You never saw me act up on an aircraft when I was travelling at a young age with my parents. I knew my azz was grass if I even entertained the thought of screaming, kicking or the like.

Of course the very young ones are a different story. For anyone who travels frequently I would suggest some noise-cancelling headphones. It wont be church quiet but definitely tolerable.
