i got a great idea!

for screaming babies on airplanes they should be put in the overhead bins
the air conditioning can be partly redirected up into the space to regulate the air. the idea of "overhead bin class" should be introduced and the back 3 aisles of economy class should be converted to accomodate people with screaming babies. and airlines should have 6 mattress/pillow/seatbelt combo things.
when the seatbelt sign is turned off parents may put their screaming babies in the overhead bins where the baby will realise that it's dark and there's no reason to complain nor will there be any point. he will simply fall asleep.
other kinks can easily be worked out.
