Default Re: Avoid OMI Vendor

The reason they should have known, is these come in boxes with clear fronts and tops, as soon as I opened the outer shipping box, I could see the one jet sitting there with its wing broken off and the nose broken, it comes in a hard plastic clear case, so it had to be handled and broken by someone?

The others were less easy to see, but all looked very very rough as far as condition overall of mfg boxing. You would think they would take a quick look as they put them in the shipping box and if they see issues , DONT SHIP IT and just assume the customer is going to be ok with it.

Aviation World & Threshold Aviation, Two Large Retailers Whom I Have A Close Relationship With Reprt Damaged Models In Undamaged Shipping Boxes All The Time.
Hence 19 Models Can Be Perfect, One Could Have Broken Tail Fin (I've Seen That Right Out Of The Box, Just After They Opened It!)
And 4 Could Have Broken Gear, But No Singn Of External Damage Or Crushing Anywhere.
As For Box Wear You Could Be Right There, But Sometimes I Buy The Last One On The Shelf Too, Sometimes Totally Crushed Boxes.
You Have To Prove They Deliberately Shipped Broken Models.
Not Taking Sides, As I Don't Know The Company You Deal With.
If They Do Shipped Damaged Models Regularly, They Do So At Their Own Peril
I've Already Banned 2 Online Retailers For Shipping Reasons.
And That's The Name Of The Game, Find The Retailer You Like & Stick With Them. There Prolly Will Be A Few Bumps On The Way.
Drive Carefully.
