If they use the same transformer for the streetlights as for the fibrekit, You will need to buy a AC/AC adaptor with a secondary voltage at 12 AC/1600 mA. Of course this will also depend on how many lights You are going to install.

I dont know the effect for the Herpa lightbulbs, but I assume that they have a voltage rating at 12 V. Lets say each lightbulb have an effect at 0,5 watt, and You will install, lets say 20 lights, then the total effect would be 10 watts. If the voltage rating is 12 V, then all you have to do is to divide the total effect with the voltage and you will find that you need a transformer with the power of 0,83 ampere or 830 milliampere (mA) if You like.

The formula is total effect (watts) / voltage = power (ampere)
In other words: 10 watts / 12 V = 0,83 ampere

Anyway, plase check the voltage and the effect for the Herpa ligths.

At these low power ratings, the cablegauge will not be a big issue

The primary Voltage will, of course, be decided by the Voltage used in Your country.
