Re: New IG puppy
What laws??
Staffies are very common thankfully. I think it's other types you are thinking about that have been banned.
As you'll no doubt know, sadly, people read the scare stories in the tabloids and think they know better than yourself about them. You hear it all the time.
There's no such thing as a bad dog, just a bad owner. They are a bit like kids.
Staffies are very excitable, etc, so sometimes, they can have a somewhat unfortunate appearance to anyone not used to them, I'll admit it.
You just have to be sensible about things, otherwise you'll not only be letting yourself down, but also, and more importantly, you will be being unfair on the dog.
Quite how ANYONE with a brain can find dogs fighting entertaining is just ....... well, I can't find the words, it's completely and utterly incomprehensible to me!
It would never even occur to me. Ever.
Personally I'd round all the s**tbrained scum up and pit them all against each other in an extremely violent, prolonged, distressing and painful, battle Royale. See how they feel like it.
Then again though, that would be too good for these ... these...... things.
If two meatheads want to beat the crap out of each other, fine, it's their choice, but what choice do animals get??
The memorial on Hyde Park Corner, London, to the animals used in war, echos this sentiment - they had no voice to object or choose.
