...Languages are fun indeed. Last time I tried to read and translate a few lines in Dutch written on a chapel in Belgium. Fortunately it's quite similar to German which is why I was able to understand almost everything.

..... My wife is Chinese, but from Indonesia. She couldn't understand a single word of Chinese. It was funny that when we honeymooned in Hong Kong people would talk to her in Chinese, but I would answer in Chinese while she looked confused not having a clue what was said to her.
..... I forgot the Swiss have four official languages: German, French, Romasch and Italian, but still officially Helvetia.
