If you want to do the later Ozark, Trans Texas, and some others, yiou would need to add landing gear doors. They decided to "streamline" the 3 and maybe add a mile per hour to the cruising speed.

See, this is kinda what I was thinking about. Perhaps it becomes a series, release one every other month, make them a bit more collectable. Dare I say that this might attract more historian-type collectors to the hobby. I know that in the model railroad genre they do 'Heritage Series' type releases for steam locomotives. Why not a 'Classic Regional Airlines' in this scale, since the mould is good?
