Without A Doubt, The 707. It Took Air Travel Out Of The Dark Ages & Kick Started The Dawn Of The Jet Age. Many Aircraft To This Day Are Influenced By It. 707 s Are Still Flying In Military Examples & They Have Been The Backbone Of Many A Fleet For Decades. Until The Success Of The 747, The 707 Was On The Tip Of Everyones' Tongue, Long After Douglas, Convair, Vickers, Dehavilland & Sud Aviation Proved Themselves.
707 Is Still Spoken Of With Reverence Today. It's A Shame Many New Collectors Can't Appreciate The 707 Compared To The Modern Twins That They Love So Much. I Consider Myself Privelaged To Not Only Have Lived Through This Era, But Actually Travelled On Them As Well As Spot Many.
