Would have looked good! However according to the book Der Passagier Jet 152 by Holger Lorenz, all of the completed airframes wore the natural metal VEB Flugzeugwerke finish as featured in available pictures. Had it not been for the Soviet policy of strictly limiting the DDRs aviation activities to licence building the IL14 airliner and other sub contract aero engineering work, then we may well have seen Baade 152s in many of the Communist airline colours.
