I have many themes. I first started collecting large scale wooden and plastic airliner models of aircraft from the early generation regional airlines. As I acquired more models, I grouped them first by airline, and in some cases by the airline and the successor airlines (there are more, "Begats" in the airline industry than in the Book of Genisis in the Old Testament bible).
A couple examples are visible in this photo. Capital Airlines was purchased by United Airlines; Trans Texas became Texas International, are just two examples.
