One theme I'm going with is to have at least one example of every type of aircraft made, in 1/400 scale. Other than that, I have many favorites, but my United, American and Delta are the largest fleets in my collection. I've noticed my interests seem to stay within the '70s and '80s, and of course I try to find as many California fliers as I can, since I'm originally from San Diego...I used to sit in Balboa Park when I was a teen and watch the planes going into Lindburgh Field...what a trip! Worst approach outside of Kai Tek, from what I've heard.
