Default Re: Unknown manufacturer of Lufthansa 707

Thanks FLIEGER (viele Grüße nach Darmstadt!!!) and ANTHONY for your answers!

I have seen the same 707-model on eBay with a slightly different text on the stand. It just said "Boeing Intercontinental Jet" without mentioning the model-type "707".

As far as I know there were three different Verkuyl 727 award-models - depending on the mileage-status: One for 125.000 kilometres, one for 250.000 kilometres and one for 500.000 kilometres. The models also had different colours. Is that correct? Does the same apply to the Lutz&Weiss models?

I also like the TCO-jets very much. I have one 720 and two 727s.

The interesting thing is: The 720 and the 727 seem to have the same basic body and wing structure. Underneath the 727-wings there are four spots to hold the engines if used as wings for the 720. Even the wing-registration D-ABOH is the same on both model-types. The wrong registration on the 727s really had me puzzled before I bought the 720...
The 727 comes as a battery-operated model and as a friction model.

Anybody know when these planes were built?

Kind regards!

Michael
