ModelLover - I'm v interested - what does a factory model mean? Excuse me, I know _nothing_ about models. I gather Verkuyl is a brand (perhaps no longer in operation?)... but factory model? Is there anyway of finding out for sure? I think the logo on the stand is the most defining feature..

I will take it, probably to get repainted, to UML (Universal Models) in Hong Kong, and hope for the best. I'm sad the paint won't be original anymore, but it's really seen better days.

I am excited there is some recognition of this plane. The pictures posted of the TWA look a little different, in that there is a join between the wings & the fuselage. On the convair there is no join (i.e. all one piece) and of course no wheels.

Thanks for the advice - and Kung Hei Fat Choi!!
