[quote=dylan;481159]Yes, on a mould that needs work, but at least they are stepping up to the plate.
/QUOTE]

They are not "stepping up to the plate" they jump in the market with a sub-par model producing Liveries that are desirable and/or rare like Pan Am,
CX and British airways.
They make simple mistakes on major details on every aspect of their models
This is the result of poor research, and an "it's good enough" attitude.

The only improvements these new model makers have made is to put their product in a more colorful box, the money should have been spent improving their moulds not wrapping them up in pretty boxes.
These companies are just oportunistic and don't relly care about producing a quality product, they see a subject lacking in our hobby (L-1011's) and
jump on it.

Money grab?
no just oportunistic I'd say.

Illigitimate? They have no liscence for these models, but it's not like that's a
big deal because MOST model makers are guilty of this at one time or another.

These model makers just need to improve their moulds and stop releasing
clearly inferior products. Maybe they read the Forums, maybe they don't,
but it probably won't change things as I don't think they really care about
making a good product, just one they can sell.
