Don't knock the south until you've tried it!
Hockey may have traditionally been a northern sport... but with the ever growing influx of
northerners to the south, it was inevitable that hockey has become so popular here. The southerners just didn't realize what they were missing all these years.
Funny though... in watching games on the tube; a lot of the northern teams arena seats are very bare, while if you have a look at the Hurricanes games... they have a packed house. Hockey has most definitely caught on in the south... especially in the Carolina's.
BTW- we know what a puck is... we've been dodging them in the grazing fields for years...
