Hey guys! I just went to the Changi Airport's viewing mall yesterday(15/10/05). I went there in the morning so as to get take-off shots. I reached there at around 11.45. The gates were really empty. There were only THAI A345(

), Tiger A320 and a SQ 777 at the far end.(I think it is T3)
There were of course some other aircrafts at the far end (Hangars and stuff). BOY! Did I have to wait some time for a plane to be in action. There was only 1 taxi by a SQ 744(

) before I saw to my dissapointment, that the first of the planes were LANDING! But, because they were unique airlines like Qatar and Cathay, I cheered up and snapped them. My mother had told me to leave the airport at 1.00. But, that was when the take-off started! I had noticed a Tiger A320 turning into a place I never seen a jet go into. It was followed by the THAI A345 I saw earlier. It was then I knew that the plane was about to take-off! I was so excited. The Tiger roared down the runway(Well, I did'nt hear it's engines) and took to the skies. IT WAS THE FIRST EVER TAKE-OFF I SAW IN REAL LIFE AND FROM THE OUTSIDE! YAY! By that time a Phillipines A330 and a SQ 744(F) were following the THAI. I had only 1 picture left in my film. So, not wanting to miss the new jet in action, I took the THAI. Well most of the exposures(OR WHATEVER YOU CALL IT) were taken of landing, taxiing or parked aircrafts. Well, I also want to get take-off shots(lots of them)..
When is the best time to see planes taking of in front of the viewing mall? By the way, when I was walking around the Skytrain station((around the bend when you enter the station)(T2),it was printed with lots of coulourful cartoonish things about the shops and places of T2, of which one of it was Viewing mall. What does it mean? Does it mean that they're going to have a viewing mall in T2? Are they part of the future projects?
Regards,
