Hi there,

You are definately in the right forum for this kind of model. Check out the forum headings and you will see that all tastes are catered for on here. Are you 100% sure that your 747 is wood? as I had one that was identical to yours, it even had the same design of stand (without the wooden addition) and was made by the company Supermodels in resin. If yours is indeed from the Philippines then identifying the manufacturer will be difficult as there are literally dozens of small factories turning these out, some very fine such as yours and some absolute "dogs" that have nothing but a passing resemblence to the planes they claim to be. In my own opinion putting a value on the wooden models can be difficult as SOME, but not all, tend to be very inconsistant in quality and in my experience some collectors won't touch them, although I have a few in my collection and I'm quite happy with them. A fair price would be between £150 and £190 for yours, if it is wood it may be difficult to get more.
