Yup, NY Tracon had a major issue with management letting the indians run the place. I read the whole internal report and it was amazing what the controllers got away with. They arranged to stack the schedule during slow times which required OT to be used all the time for the busy times. Then they also arrange to work comp time but then call in sick so that somebody else had to be called in for OT then THEY would call in sick the next day (or soon after) to get their day off back. Every one of us that read the report just shook our heads in amazement at all the BS that went on there.

Believe me, the NATCA group at NY Tracon seriously abused everything and the internal report totally exposed it. All new management has been brought in as well.
