I have to say in my nearly 30 years of being involved in aviation on many levels, until I got involved in collecting these little models and becoming involved in these forums, I have never encounted so many people who think historical details are not important! And you know what? The reg is too small in most cases to read, so who would know? The answer is I WOULD...., and I will not accept errors of that level in my collection. PERIOD! I really find the attitude some of you have concerning this issue very puzzling to me. In your case I'm starting to think you have been out on the desert sun too long, and or, using too many of the items in your signature line...:-)
Airwest, with all due respect, you really need to get a life. Did you ever see that "Saturday Night Live" episode circa 1987 with host William "Bill" Shattner? He played himself as "Captain Kirk" at a "Star Trek" convention and all the dudes dressed up as various characters from the show were going crazy asking him questions about the series. The greatest line from that sketch that Shattner said was "You guys gotta get a life!" Dude, it's just a hobby. It's not life or death. Now I can respect your want to see accurate registrations, engines, wings, color schemes, etc but does it really matter in the end? Sure, the model is incorrect but look at all the other great examples Andrew has provided us. It's all good in the end my friend.
