My family all drives American-made vechiles, namely Jeeps. I have to say that when it comes to 4x4s, no way in hell do I feel safe in a Toyota or Honda wannabe 4x4. Gimmie a classic Jeep Cherokee with it's 4.0 straight 6 any day!
Now, I drive a Plymouth Breeze, and right now it has 126000+ miles on it. It's a good car but it's been somewhat MX intensive. I had a transmission failure about 9 months ago and the car was laid up for about 2-3 weeks or so, costing at least $2000.
