Yo JJ, if you hate foreign car companies and will never buy one then fair enough, that's your right, but if you really think Japanese cars are junk and people who buy them are suckers I have to say I think you're a bit wide of the mark on this one
I've spent a lot of time driving the Toyota Land Cruiser (of various incarnations) and Nissan Patrol where there are no roads and where vehicles are really tested and both were superb, totally reliable and capable of getting through almost anything, if either of those can't get through then you need a helicopter
