They didn't stay or try to conquer as did the six ARAB legions who wanted to destroy the Israelis and got their sorry asses kicked back to where they came from. All this while the UN, the very body that helped create Israel, sat on their hands and DID NOTHING!

I assure you that if it was YOUR country and the Polish were firing artilery and rockets at your people, you'd take care of it yourselves.....Oh wait, the Germans did that without an excuse.

Carry on!
Jim, where did I say that the military action was not justified? I simply pointed out the fact that there was a military action, and that Israel did go into Lebanon. This was in order to secure peace, as the ongoing civil war there caused Israeli casualties. If I were to sum up all of the events that led to the - letīs call it "military action" if you like that term better - , I wouldnīt be finished by tomorrow noon.

For the record, the 3rd Reich is not my country. The Federal Republic of Germany is where I was born, 23 years after the end of WW 2, and this is the country whose citizenship I bear. The Federal Republic of Germany has never been attacked by Poland, and, neither has the 3rd Reich. WW 2 started when the SS staged a raid on a local radio station near the border. No rockets had been fired by Poland.

Oh yes, there was a Polish "attack" in the 1980s, when a Federal German Navy support vessel had been hit by Polish rockets during a NATO manoever, injuring a few German crewmen. West Germany settled this diplomatically. The German vessels (PT boats, btw) did not fire back, and they did so to avoid a further escalation. Afaik, the Polish seamen responsible had been court-martialed shortly afterwards. I can check for more details if you want me to.

At ease!
