This should be and old Verkuyl-model (Holland), which was manufactured in the early 70's as present to frequent Lufthansa guests. Those models existed in three different colours: Copper, Silver and Gold, representing the different level of achieved mileage (I guess 100.000 - 250.000 km). The original stand is metal as well. They had also a Viscount and a 707 of same style in earlier days.
This was basically the early type of Lufthansa Miles and More program. Much more attractive than the scrap you can get today on and off board
