Paul,

I don't have one around to play with anymore but I seem to recall that when I did, the gear didn't present any real problems. Relatively speaking of course; even at the best of times, the gear on 1:72 Corgi warbirds is... well, let's just say it can be "challenging" at times.

As for the loose fit, I usually find a gentle squeeze of the peg at the top of the gear leg with a pair of pliers does wonders for all 1:72 Corgi aircraft. Nothing radical mind you; just enough to make it slightly oval rather than perfectly round.

When you say the angle is wrong, I take it you mean wrong for a Fw 190 in particular? After all, the angle of the gear on the real aircraft is a little unconventional (canted slightly inwards).
