Nice truck/suv. I have always like the Durango, but they were always on the small side for mid-size SUVs. The 2004's are larger and if I remember correctly feature either the 4.7L High Output V8 which is anything but lacking some power and the brand new R/T, which upgraded from the old R/T's 5.9L V8 to the 345hp 5.7L Hemi V8. Gas mileage with the 4.7L is decent, but, like all other Dodge trucks and SUV's to carry either the R/T or SRT titles, the 5.7L is not very fuel efficient (neither was the 5.9L that was equiped in the pre-2004 Durango R/T's, pre-2004 Dakota R/T's and Dodge Ram SST).
