Giodi released the 1/72 Sukhoi Su-34
Strike Flanker some months ago, and announced the F-22 Raptor (first prototype?)and the Su-27 in PLAAF colours.
after I wrote to them pointing out that the PLAAF doesn't seem to have used the blue/white camouflage of the Russian Air Force on their Su-27s, they humbly acknowledged that their sample was not accurate....and would be "soon released".
BUT, to my dismay, they pulled all three models (the Su-34, Su-27 and F-22) out of the "official" website (
www.chinamxw.com). Probably they didn't do very well with the Strike Flanker and decided to close down?!?? Like Justin pointed out, they probably should have started with a much more popular airframe (like the -27 instead of the -34!) to boost sales!
Anyone has an idea if they are still around
