I'm sorta surprised that Schabak's 1:500 line consists of scaled gears. I always had an image, and still do, that Schabaks' planes are more of a toy than a model. Anyway, now I'll probably look out for some cheap 1:500 Schabaks to use for parts. I could use some mod-ing on my OG Herpas!
Also, can you post some pics, whenever you do your mods? Thanks again.
