As an ex-1:600 Schabak-er myself, I moved on to 1:400 scale as my main collection. I started to collect 1:500 SJ and 1:500 NG Herpa to supplement/complement my 1:400 collection.

The most baffeling aspect about Schabak is that in their 1:500 scale collection, they have scale plastic gears BUT STILL DO THEIR PISS-POOR DECALING JOB...and BELIEVE ME..it looks much MORE WORSE on a larger 1:500 than a 1:600 model.

I guess the the Concorde modifcation is a result of two evils making a right. I've done this on the OG Herpa Shamu SW 737, but I know they re-releasing it as NG.

I hope Herpa starts getting aggressive in upgrading their line to NG because I'll be all over it then.
