I wasn't particularly enthralled with the idea of both of them merging anyway.

I wonder what Aloha will do now. They're one of the few airlines still operating 737-200's; some convertible open top versions. Maybe they'd consider the 717. Then again they have all those new 737-700's they're using for the John Wayne/Las Vegas run so maybe they'll stick with 737 NG's. Who knows.
