Herpa NG B747

Just got the Disney Friends model and must say that the new generation mould is stunningly good...as good as (better than?)Star Jets with what I consider near perfect tail end...NO GAPS...now if only they could make the rear stabilisers in metal aswell....the undercarriage is also a little more detailed which is nice...

With regards to the printing of the livery...again very good but actually I don't like the Disney design very much...its still very pretty tho...my little girl loves it so I bought another one just for her...by the way I a friend got them for me in Japan at JPY5200

In the past I said that Star Jets were much better model than Herpa...now if the rest of their NG moulds are as good then looks like I'll have to re evaluate my opinion and the beauty is that Herpa has so many airline licenses so all of us 1:500 collectors have a lot to look forward to....

Im looking foward to the ng 744 too. I already ordered the BA 744 UK and the SQ 744 will be ordered once its out in the US. Now only if they could make new generatoin will rolling wheels.
