Model Shops in Hong Kong
Hi all,
Will be going to Hong Kong soon, and I hope to pick up some models. What shops do you recommend for 1:500, in the airport or around Tsimshatsui?
I want to get a SQ Tropical 744 and maybe some Qantas flying art aircraft, any hope of seeing these around?
I know this seems almost the same as tinyfirez question in the 1:400 section, but since I'm looking at a different scale, thought will ask here, hope you all don't mind.
Thanks

Re: Model Shops in Hong Kong
There should be SQ Tropical made by starjets around in HK. However the price is not going to be cheap.
In terms of QF, I think there isn't much selection left either because almost everywhere are sold out on the QF 744 Wunlala Dreaming, and B738 one... There should be some B743 Nanaji avaliable. (please excuse my spelling as I am not sure how to spell out their correct name).

An 1:500 Tropical normally goes away at 50-150 USD...

Re: Model Shops in Hong Kong
Toymax has a good selection of 500 scale models, a wide variety.
West Main Toys at the Pioneer Center (750 Nathan Road, Mongkok) got a lot of 500 scales too.
JFK Aero in the In's Point Plaza (530-544 Nathan Road, Yaumatei) also has a nice selection of 500 scales.

Re: Model Shops in Hong Kong
It's always the last few minutes where the bids can go from 25 to 100...
