I agree with you, the Netmodels plane is better than the Hogan in the picture.

If I Were In This Scale I'll Take The Net.
I'll Give Credit Where Credit Is Due. The Cockpit On The Hogan Is GIANT. L-1011 Sized. The Net Is Off Shaped, But The Right Size & Overall Looks OK. The Net Has Better Gear. Odd Looking Engine But So Is The Hogan. As For The Isuue Of Color. I'll Bet My Left Nut They Are The Same. These Photos Are Not Accurate. Factory Photos Have A Tendency To Be Dark & Off Color. The Hogan Sample Was Simply Lightened In Photoshop. Too Bad Net Missed The Cargo Door! Phooey On The Express Markings. I'd Even Rub Off The Markings Behind The ANA CARGO Titles. The Less Clutter The More Beautiful The Plane. Shame On The Wing Exit Markings But Who Knows? Mabe They'll Fix It Before It Leaves The Factory. |

The cockpit of the Hogan is giant, but who knows? Maybe theŽll fix it before it leaves the factory .IŽm afraid your left Nut is in danger . Here a picture of JA604F already in the shops and a link to the real bird. I am pretty sure that the colors are off a bit, but wouldnŽt bet on it .BTW another inaccuracy of the Netmodel is the "N" of ANA on the fuselage, its not done very well. I Doubt Either Would Stand Up To The Real Deal. Some Of My Big Bird ANAs Also Have That Off Color Light Blue That Looks More Like Teal. So Do Some Of The Phoenix. Out Of 20 Models I Got Only 5 Are Right. That Engine looks Worse Too. The Cockpit Also Looks Different. Is Yours A Sample? |

The picture of the Netmodels is from german store Flugzeugladen Passau
and I found another picture at MLS. Modelutions Dormagen. So its no sample, I think. Regarding the colors I can only say that I have quite a few Hogan ANAŽs in my collection and that the colors match the real thing very well. I have also BigBird models and one Dreamjet model and especially the Dreamjet model differs in colors. So if you want to enlarge your ANA fleet and have lots of Hogans I would recommend to stay with them to have a commonality. There is probably not a very striking difference in colors, but you will at least recognize it, when you park them next to each other on your tarmac.

Yes the Hogan colors are very good but the the netmodels's mould is better than Hogan's mould.
Perfect is Netmodels' mould with Hogan's colors but doesn't exist in the market!
