Luck?! Here in Portugal we only have luck with Herpa and a little bit with IF500 and Netmodels. It's sad!

Also try 80M model shops and Toys and Games at HKIA.

Make sure it is in a silver box, as the white box is the old edition.

why does KA always leave out the registrations for their aircraft? and how come Lysia makes for them, and not herpa?

basically, why all these differences with their mother company CX?

All though i have no photo to prove it, The newest KA A330 on sale inflight on KA at the moment has a registration and is updated with Oneworld and SWIRE titles, it is in a silver box.

Perhaps oneday we may see KA models made by Herpa, but i hope like with the newest A330, they start adding registrations and the added OneWorld and SWIRE markings.

CXcitement seems a very 'reasonable' shop. i mean they sort of listen to a lot of the collectors. in recent years, they have been releasing more models (the 742 SOHK and cargo models for example were not for general sale previously), and improving on a lot of existing models (new imprints, registrations, etc.). so i know if they would have their way, they would do the same to the KA models.

would anyone here know if maybe KA is still under contract with Lysia? and perhaps that is the reason why their models are still made in a different manner from the CX models? maybe KA signed a contract with them just prior to the merger?

The A330 that was release 2years ago had a sliver box too So, i guess it will be hard to check if the sliver box model in it has the new version wz titles or old version w/o OneWorld & SWIRE titles.

I bought mine on KA inflight, so i think KA are now selling the new version. But i agree its a little hard if you dont know which one it is!

This model i don't know but other KA models made by Lysia you can find in Hong Kong (The Paradise). Try the HK sites...
