Without question, the worst model ever made. This must be a joke - did someone post this as a gag.

Pan Am never operated a 300 or 400 variant. The engine shape is very odd and how is it attached to the wing.

How the hell can this company produce a 717 and MD90 that are knockouts and then this.

OUch! but not the first one- the original 737-200 LH and SN had wrong parts as well, horizontal not vertical that time

The worst part IMO is that hideous plastic tail. Looks like a cheap toy you would find at K-Mart.

I agree with you 100 %, I simply don´t understand why they don´t get rid of that plastic rubbish.

We should probably start a "competition", what is the worst model in 2007? But probably it would be hard to beat this one....

If you're talking about PanAm I then you're right. But if you're talking about PanAm II. You're wrong there. I seem to recall they did fly the 737-400 in PanAm II.
Anyways, I'm starting to look elsewhere for models, InFlight is producing models worth collecting, 1:400 is getting some nice stuff and BBX is giving us some nice shiny new ATL-98s. The only thing I might get from herpa this year is the LOT EMB 170, Air Koryo IL-62 and that NASA Shuttle Carrier. I also hear that InFlight is introducing a new DC-10 mould. So that means either herpa's DC-10 mould will have to walk a mile to the nearest subway and lose some metal or herpa will be left in the dark with their model.

They flew a 400 in the Billboard scheme only, and about 8-10 years after the cheatline livery disappeared.

This model claims to be a 200 model yet has a 300 or 400 tail and 200-like engines which have no pylons - in other words, this plane has never existed.

Dont get it - how can Herpa be this wrong.

They screw up big time alot, remember the BA L1011 "The Wheatcraft Hairy Rose?" Hopefully this is herpa's CAD generated crap that they post for all their releases. But looking at this photo, it obviously isn't. I agree with you on herpa messing up big time.
