TU134 roaring down the runway ...!!

YES! My very first TU134 landed today.

HA-LBP touched down gently and looks really SUPER!!

I remeber autumn last year I visited the spotting point next to Frankfurt´s Runway 18, when a TU134 of Albanian Airlines was roaring down the runway trailing that characteristical smoke and everything was in vibration due to that tremendous noise.

Now the run to Tirana is operated by BAe146 of Albanian Airlines due to stringent EU noise regulation. Another chapter of aviation has been closed.

Sadly more and more of the elderly "stars" like 727´s, 707´s, L1011`s, DC10´s, DC8´s dissappear from the skies forever ...

So it´s nice to preserve this memories in such beautiful models like this TU134. I once made a trip with Malev´s TU154 to Budapest and really enjoyed the service on board and personally I think the TU154 is one of the most beautiful airliners in the world. THANK YOU HERPA!! And please continue in producing this beautiful airliners and hopefully I will thunder down my runway with a TU154 next time???
