Sounds good, but why on earth would they make an Ethiopian 727!? Leave it up to Herpa to make the odd ball stuff!

Oh my,
The Ethiopian 727 is an awesome release!
How could you say such a thing!
How can you be so contempt with "regular" US and Asian airline releases all the time???
I love that SJ threw in this model, what a nice livery and who would have expected it.
I'm so so happy Herpa didn't make it though, their 727 mould is horrible.
This is the only release I'll be getting.

Is this true?? I really hope so.... no news at their website. I would love the Asiana 767. Lovely plane. Now let's hope for more Asiana in 747-400 and 777-200 (the 777 is cool)

Not bagging on any car, just saying ethiopians dont eat much at all, so "anti-ricerocket"

And My saturn would whoop your civic in gass mileage.
Tell ya what- I'll race you from the ford dealership on sahara out to Richard and Peter, loser foots the bill.

I have both the Herpa Lufthansa 727-100 delivery scheme and the SJ 727-100 delivery scheme...Herpa's a NG and the tail, as far as accuracy goes in relation to the real thing puts the SJ to shame when you compare each model to actual aircraft photos...SJ's #2 eng air intake is too high and too long but otherwise I agree...the rest of the mould blows Herpa's away.

Jeremy:
C'mon now...the Ethiopian 727 is an amazingly cool release...don't tell me you'd like to see another US domestic livery. I commend StarJets for such a ballsy choice!

I'm on those MD-11's. Saw some shots of them at several retailers websites. Nice looking planes.

SJ's MD-11 mould is the absolute best in it's scale. Few (if there are more companies other than Herpa) can top it.

The problem with the Herpa one is that they did not bother making a different mould for the 727-100, so the intake of engine #2 is round and not oval as it should be, and they put the turbine cone in there as well...makes you wonder if there really is an "S"-shaped JT8D engine?
I like the seamless stabilizers though.
