You should not ALWAYS assume that BigBird will sell theirs for 40.00 . Maybe due to competition on this item, we will see this baby for a little less ?

Big Bird is being asked to lower their wholesale cost to better compete with the SJ model. The $40 price for previous models was charged by US retailers, not big bird. It would be nice to see this one for $29 but it will still be $10 or more higher than SJ.

Well to my understanding they are as cheap as 23-24 dollars in Hong Kong. But the problem is I don't live in Hong Kong. So even if I did have a friend in HK that obtained the models for me plus shipping cost it would be around 35 dollars. CAM is the distributor as what people are saying so why can't they just ship em to the USA..oh wait I forgot they are too greedy to do that. All about politics and money......

They are nice models don't get me wrong and I own the 2 Ansett's but unless its on my favorite list i.e QF1, ANZ all blacks or a few others that I can't get cheaper in 1/400 or 1/500 I'll pass on it.
