Where's Chelsea Rose? It's the only world tail I actually like. Every single other one is just relatively more or less gaudy than the others. But above all--how about Landor?
Finally--I thought a Benyhone 727 would look really good--but it turns out that it looks really bad. Oh well. |

The USA waves is a great looking livery, but if you really compare it to the whale rider you have to go with Canadian first.
Its like going to a hockey game with any Canadian team. The US anthem is great to listen to(best was the old chicago stadium), but the Canadian anthem is a really great song to listen to. Whether us in the states want to believe it or not. WHALE RIDER!!!! Scott |

I'll vote `Colours Down the Side' since only the Dash 8-300 had it I believe.
![]() Glad to see the Air Liberte choices *BUT* No Benyhone Tartan choice????? Phooey! ![]()

I like all of 'em but I voted for Denmark. That tail just kicks arse.
"Column" aint bad either and I have to agree about the Sweden tail. That thing is very attractive to the eye. |

Niles;
Scotland was done already...and for whatever reason, I thought in error, so was the Chelsea Rose...I certainly goofed on that one. My apologies for the gaff folks...it looks like Chelsea Rose had better be a "write-in." Marc |

Boring. No more World Tails for the moment. We need some Union Jack and Lador schemes on British Airways' ships.

Always gets me how BA describe the Benyhone motif. The tail scheme was actually designed for their main competitor British Caledonian just before BA went and bought them in July 1987.
The same design company Newall & Sorrell? produced both, nicely ironic don't you think, a design for your rivals ends up on your fleet several years later. I've always wondered whether BA were made aware of this fact? Interestingly, I believe, there were several colourways of tartan intended for BCals fleet and can imagine that the DC-10s lined up at Gatwick would have looked superb! |

Does anybody know what happened to the proposed release of the Chelsea Rose 757?
It appeared on the GJ website a little over a year ago but it seems to have vanished into the ether. Bit of a shame really. IMHO it is by far the best of the designs. I gather that feeling is held by several other people on this site. If it is not ever going to be released as a 757 then can we at least have the design released on a 777(G-VIIO or G-VIIS). |
