Cx 1:400 B747-400

Just got it from CX Ticketing Office HK this morning and I can say herpa did quite well on this model. The wings level have been improved into just the same level with DW and the shape of those RR engines are very nice. But still, the model come with the wrong cockpit window shape and the stick landing gears. I think herpa can make it super if she really wanna do. Let's hope for the new generation on herpa 1:400 models.
PS: The CX Staffs I met this morning were very friendly and nice. Thanks for them.

??? Nontheless......I have to get this one for sure as CX is one of my favorites. It's really pouring these days........we have the JAL DReam....this CX.....GJ BA HK.......and upcoming rumors of Nadzini, nalanji.......geeee this is really hurting my pockets.

I'll be buying this, Herpa or not, because I doubt we will be seeing any CX's from anyone else anytime soon.

Yeah you're right Jeremy it's a good buy since it will probably not be available thru other manufacturers. Since it's a regular CX release I'm sure there will be lots made so I don't think it should be a goose chase for this one. I'll surely be getting this one. Hey Edwin.......I think it's not yet on their site but they are out already in HK. I know some who already got them in CX HK office.

Well, Netcrawer, you make a very good point. Not something that stands out but until GJ or DW/JX makes 'em, I guess these are the best I can use to entertain my kids with.

Yes, A Black plastic stand is included with the model, just like the 1:500 one. I can't wait for other CX 1:400 models but herpa, hope you can first improve the 1:400 B777, A330 and A340 molds please!!!

I have pretty given-up on both UPS and Cathy Pacific.

If these airlines do not wish to advertise through diecast model, so be it. As far as I am concerned, it is their loss.

Wingman......I think you can easily get the CX thru inflight or their CX office in HK. There are actually lots of Herpa CX model and 1lonesome Dragon SOHK CX. About the UPS though....hmmm....can't help much on that.

Could anyone tell me where the ticketing office in HK is? My parents are there now and I need to tell them EXACTLY where it is, if not they'll get very lost and I'll get quite a dressing down when they're back at home. hee. Is there like an MTR station around there or something? Or is the model available in flight?
