Default More prizes - Honolulu gathering

Thanks to Dave at "Jet Collector.com" we've got two more models to give away this Sunday the 26th. They are a rare "chrome" Hawaiian Airlines DC-10 and a "Real Metal" Hawaiian DC-10. These are in addition to the new Hawaiian B-767-300 from Gemini and my custom Gemini Hawaiian B-747-400.

Entries will be accepted at the Hobby Company in Pearlridge between 10am and 2pm. for all but the custom model. The custom model will be given away in a seperate drawing for those known collectors or their representative who frequent the DAC. See my dad or me for an entry.

I'll have several custom models including the Gemini Aloha and Canadian 737's and some British world tails. Thanks to Gemini we'll have some samples to preview and I'll bring several examples of our buildings.

Please if you have models that you want to share...bring them. Hope to see you there.

Unfortunately this weeks internet specials came out and the closest I can get is Kona for $318 on AA from LAX and I still have to pay for the DFW-LAX segment. Guess I won't be attending. Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

By the way, if anybody is going, how comfortable are the DC-10's on Hawaiian? Last time I flew was on L1011 which was normally a 2-4-2 seating but I think they managed one more seat in the row. Very tight and not a good option for my mom who seems very prone to leg cramps on these longer flights where leg room is a plus.

Default more prizes: Jet-X

Not only do we have prizes from Gemini and Jet Collector.com, but Jet-X is also sending some models for some lucky collectors this Sunday. Thanks to each of you who have been so generous.
Aloha, Chris

PS: Stanman: Hawaiian's DC-10's are really comfortable and the meal service is the best of any carrier between the mainland and Hawaii. The F/C meals in particular are out of this world.

Aloha, Chris
Hmm, maybe we should organize a get together here in the Philippines as well. Wow so many free planes. Uhh Erick, Jao...get to work!!!

Chris, wishing the best for your get-together there in Hawaii. The best part would have been to meet nice people like you guys and see the works of art you've been doing.

Default Pacific Airliners Show

Yea...sorry you guys from the Philippines can't be here. Perhaps if we plan a year or so in advance we could have a Pacific Airliners Show? I have no idea what would be involved, but what do you think?

Sounds good Chris. We should have everyone from the Pacific Rim from Hawaii, California, Oregon and Washington out to Guam and from there Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand. Problems will be location whether we can arrange for good priced tickets for everyone.

But not to take anything away from your event, hope you guys have a good time.
