sold intakes?????. The intakes have should have variable position cones....meaning a hollow intake. Oooops....this makes the release look very toy like...does it have silver gear and nacelle points?

Looks OK to me, another one for my collection. If they got the dimensions correct it looks good for its size. Its only 8.2cm x 4.2cm.

I am waiting to see this too. Not only for the SR-71, but equally for the B-1B.

Yes, for some reason Dragon publicity photos don't really flatter their Military releases.

Here is my pic of the B-1B and I like it quite a bit. I have high hopes that the SR-71 will look great in the flesh as well.

OT: Hmmmmm DW makes a swing-wing .......interesting. With then SW experience now under their belts, perhaps a Boeing 2707-100 or 207-200?

I read on another forum that the wings do not swing...

Oh......Thanks Al. That's too bad. It would be so easy for a manufacturer to reverse mould the excellent monogram kit from the seventies. I have about 6 of this kits, but would love to see it in metal....with swing wings.

the wings do not swing but the mould was designed so they could be placed in either position when manufacturing the model

Wouldn't the photo in post #11 be "Cruise Mode"....high speed? , and the above in low speed approach/loitering mode?
