Gemini Jets II?
Just noticed this on some of the older GJs. They say "GeminiJets II" on the box and the plane, instead of just "GeminiJets". Can anyone fill me in?

Re: Gemini Jets II?
I believe this moniker applied to the 2nd generation manufacturing process of Gemini Jets, i.e no tail seam or plastic tail fins.

Hey Big Al. I just noticed you're from Paisley, Scotland. Does everyone there wear shirts with swirly things on them?

No kidding. Never knew that. I suppose that might have something to do with the fact that I don't really have any early 747 releases!

A few of my BA world tails have plastic tails as well. The South African and Hong Kong come to mind.

Nope, and we don't wear kilts either...lol
(O/T) But seriously, there are some great early examples of Paisley Pattern in the local museum, originally a Kashmiri design (allegedly) lol The artist formerly known as Prince was rarther fond of the design.

You just Answered Your Own Question. They're The Old Gemini Moulds, But Filled In. Plastic Tails Replaced By Metal Ones.
The 747s However Have Been Tweaked.
744 Upper Deck No Longer Slopes Upward.
742 Has Wing Probes. The Mould Appears To Be A Bit Petter As Well.
