I want to know whether you may have the picture of prospal of B.CAL MD-11 livery that would have been worn which they was supposed to be the first customer to get the MD-11 but yown after BAA takeover they cancelled it! So Finnair became the first caiirer to get the first MD-11.

Again......Any prospal picture of B.CAL????? Thanks.....

By the way.....Which engine GE or PW B.CAL opted for their MD-11? and what seat configuration??? Thanks again

Yes, I have a color photo of a B.Cal MD-11. I'll put it up Monday. It's actually the oldest and first drawing of an MD-11 I have, as BCal was a launch customer. It shows up frequently, and I have several sources to scan from. As for engines, it seems that the Douglas artist tends to put all proposed MD-11's with PW engines, but there are a few GE/RR drawings, so maybe it just happens that so many of the ones that never came to be had PW's. (Only Finnair oc, Saudia oc, and Air Europe are depicted with non-PW) It says that BCal intended for the MD-11 to start service on new long-range routes to N and S America, and the Far East. No word on seating. BTW, to anyone interested, I've got a spare, sealed, never opened copy of the MD-11 book for sale.
