Default Vanguard

I've seen on several occasions a scheme I am unfamiliar with.It appears to be a 737-200 with a "V" on the tail.Did Vanguard put a new look on some of their 732's?Whatever this livery may be,it looks sharp!

Thanks

Ed

Pretty certain that who you are speaking of. THey are kind of doing a Braniff number where the back half of the fuselages are painted in a variety of colors.

Ed,

Vanguard's first livery I believe was a plain white/grey fuselage with the stylized maroon V on the tail and Vanguard titles on the fuselage above the windows.

At some point, they went to a blue/white livery on their 737-200s with a blue belly with white upper surfaces and a blue/white tail retaining the stylized V and more prominent Vanguard titles on the fuselage. That's the current scheme most of the fleet is in.

And I'm sure you remember seeing the pics posted of the newer livery on the Vanguard MD-80s leased from Pegasus Aviation. White forward fuselage with a black or blue aft section and tail with a multicolor V on the tail and a similarly colored band demarcating the forward and aft parts of the fuselage color scheme.

I haven't heard if any of their 737-200s have been painted in this new livery.

Hope that helps.

Default I think Green only so far for the 732's!

I heard the fleet was going to MD series aircraft! Due to the economic turmoil in the Airline industry I wonder what ramifications this will do to Vanguard. Frontier is already letting people go.
